Question 2165: 1)What are the intercepts of y= -3x - 1
2)What are the intercepts of y= -3x + 2
3)Write an equation for the vertical line passing through point (-5, 3)

Look at my previous answers on straight lines...
1. y-intercept is -1
2. you do
3. vertical line through x=-5, y=3. Draw axes and draw this line through this quoted point. What do you know about every point on the line? You know that x is always -5...so the equation is x=-5. Easy-peasy :-)
