Question 21381: 3x + 1/3y = 6 (I need to complete an ordered pair (?,9)and I am not sure what to do with the fraction part of the equation to find my answer.)
Answer by Photonjohn(42)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x + y/3 = 6 is what I hope you are saying.
solving for X = 6 - y/3
For (?,9), if y = 9, then
X = 6 - 9/3
X = 6 - 3
X = 3
