First find the slope of 2x-5y=12
Sove for y:
-5y = -2x + 12
The slope is 2/5.
Next find the y-intercept of 4y+24=5x
Let x = 0, and 4y+24=0
4y=-24

The equation with slope 2/5 and y intercept y=-6 will be
