Question 199586: The problem was a graph with a line drawn. How do i make and equation in slope-intercept form? Can you show me an example.

This is a very simple subject.
The y-intercept is either a positive or negative number. To make things simpler, it is the point when the line crosses the y-axis.(vertical line)

so lets say y=3x+7
The y-intercept will be 7 and that is the point on the y-axis in which the line passes through.
If that number was a negative number, then it would cross in the negative values.
