2x+5/y=-11 multiply this equation by -2 & add.
4x-3/y=21/2
-4x-10/y=22
-----------------------
-13/y=21/2+22
-13/y=10.5+22
-13/y=32.5
32.5y=-13
y=-13/32.5
y=-.4 ans.
2x+5/(-.4)=-11
2x-12.5=-11
2x=12.5-11
2x=1.5
x=1.5/2
x=.75 ans.
4*.75-3/-.4=21/2
3+7.5=10.5
10.5=10.5
