Answer by Mathtut(3670)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if your looking for the equation of the line that passes thru these two point then first find the slope(tutors have no access to the problems so I am just guessing what needs to be done)
:
change in y over change in x
:
(2-0)/(1-(-1))=2/2=1
:
so slope is 2. now use point slope formulat using one of the points we were given..I will use (-1,0)
:
y-0=1(x-(-1))
:
y=x+1 is the equation
