You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Given: system%28y=highlight%28-2%29x%2B7%28EQN1%29%2Cy=highlight%28-2%29x-6%28EQN2%29%29

Just by looking on the eqns, they are parallel.

Why? Remember Parallel Lines have the same Slope=m, ---> y=mx+b

We can prove by solving the eqns.

In EQN 1:
Let fy=0 ----> 0=-2x%2B7 ----> 2x=7 ----> cross%282%29x%2Fcross%282%29=7%2F2
red%28x=7%2F2%29, X-Intercept
Let fx=0 ----> y=-2%280%29%2B7
red%28y=7%29, Y-Intercept

In EQN 2:
Let fy=0 ---> 0=-2x-6 ---> 2x=-6 ----> cross%282%29x%2Fcross%282%29=cross%28-6%293%2Fcross%282%29
red%28x=-3%29, X-Intercept
Let fx=0 ---> y=-2%280%29-6
red%28y=-6%29

We'll see the graph,
---> RED, EQN 1; GREEN, EQN 2

Thank you,
