Question 182773: how do u graph this equation: y=7-3x ?
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
it's a linear equation, which means the graph is a straight line.
2 points is all you need to graph a straight line. Plot the 2 points and draw the line thru them.
You can find any 2 points, but one way is to set x = 0 and find y, then y=0 and find x.
y=7-3x
@x = 0: y - 7 --> (0,7) point #1
@y=0: x = 7/3 --> (7/3,0) point #2
Plot them draw the line thru them
