y = (-1/3)x

slope = -1/3 ; intercept = 0
I understand that the above is the answer, but I am not sure how to come up with this answer. I guess my question is how do you put the equation x=-3y into the slope intercept form to get answer y = (-1/3)x----slope = -1/3
how does -3y turn into -1/3??????????????
