Question 173983: what is the slope and y intercept of the line 14x+4y=24 and can you explain how to get the slope and y intercept?
Answer by Mathtut(3670) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
put this in slope intercept form which is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept
:
4y=-14x+24
:
y=(-14/4)x+6--->y=x+
:
now it is easy to see our goals
:
m or slope = -7/2 and b or y intercept is 6
