: I need to know how to write the data as an ordered pair.
Windchill vs. air Temperature
Air Temp. is the input and Windchill is the output. Both are measured in degrees Fahrenheit.
The Air Temp is 35 and the Windchill is 16 so how would I write this as an ordered pair so I can graph it.

Answer by nerdybill(7384) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Ordered pairs such as (x,y)
gives the x-axis first (independent variable)
and the y-axis second (dependent variable)
.
The x-axis is horizontal whereas the y-axis is vertical.
.
In your case,
Air Temp is the independent variable (or x-axis)
and
Windchill is the dependent variable (or y-axis)
.
Therefore, the ordered pair would be:
("Air Temp", "windchill")
or
(35, 16)
.
Horizontal axis: air temp
Vertical axis: windchill
