Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To find ordered pairs, make a table with two columns. Label one column x and the other column y.
Then pick a value for x and solve for y using the given equation. Write both numbers in the correct column in the a row on the table.
Now pick other values for x and solve for y. Write these in a new row
Each pair of (x,y) in each row is an ordered pair.
So, for instance, given
x -- y
-------
0 -- 7
1 -- 8
-1 -- 6
-7 -- 0
etc etc
Ordered pairs are (0,7) , (1,8) , (-1,6) and (-7,0)
You can make as many ordered pairs as you want.
