: Please help with linear growth of population of 3000. Suppose that the amount that the towns population grows each year is fixed. The amount of population growth each year =1900. What would be the population growth in (2010) t=0 (2011) t=1, (2012) t=2, (2013) t=3 (2016) t=6 Thank you in advance. This question is from textbook

Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Population = 3000 + 1900t, t = year-2010, year>= 2010
P(2010)= 3000 + 1900(0) = 3000
P(2011) = 3000 + 1900(1) = 4900
P(2012) = 3000 + 1900(2) = 6800
etc etc
