Question 148974: I need the coordinates of the x-intercept. I think it is either (-6, 0) or (-3,0)
I am not sure if either of these pairs are correct, or if I have them in right order. I am so confused.
Thank you, Ellen
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x + y = -6.
If x = 0; y = -6
If y = 0 ; 2x = -6 ; x = -3
----------
So, (-3,0) is an x-intercept.
