Slope intercept form is y=mx+b, with m as the slope and b as the y-intercept (what y is when x is zero). So you have everything you need in the equation itself (yay, no extra work!). So just plug in 1/2 for m and get . Then plug in 9 for b, since a point is (0,9). You see that y=9 when x=0. So you should get . This is your answer in slope intercept form.
