:
The resulting mixture is to be 10l, therefore:
(10-x) = amt of 5% o.j.
:
% orange juice equation
.15x = .05(10-x) = .08(10)
.15x + .5 - .05x = .8
.15x - .05x = .8 - .5
.10x = .3
x =
x = 3 liters of 15% o.j.

10 - 3 = 7 liters of 5% o.j.
