Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
first, find the slope __ y-change (rise) divided by x-change (run) __ (9-19)/(-2-(-4)) __ -10/2 __ -5

using point-slope __ y-19=-5(x-(-4)) __ y-19=-5x-20

solving for y (slope-intercept) __ y=-5x-1
