You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You could do it that way but it would be easier this way because you won't have to deal with fractions.
We have, %28L%2B1%29%2F8=4.
multiply by 8 on both sides to get,
L+1=32.
now subtract 1 from both sides.
L+1-1=32-1
L=31.
