Question 14053: Could you please help solve the following...
L+1
_____ = 4
8
Should I begin by making it L/8 + 1/8 = 4?
Answer by bam878s(77) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You could do it that way but it would be easier this way because you won't have to deal with fractions.
We have, =4.
multiply by 8 on both sides to get,
L+1=32.
now subtract 1 from both sides.
L+1-1=32-1
L=31.
Hope this helps.
