Question 136086: sove problems by graphing Y=3/4x-2 and 2Y-5X=10
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Start with the first equation.
Pick a value for x. Let's say 0, then , , so (0,-2) is one point on the first line
Repeat the process with a different value. Let's pick 4. then , , so (4,1) is another point on the first line.
Plot the two points and draw a line all the way across the graph through the two points.
Now, repeat the entire process for the second equation.
The point where the two lines intersect is the solution of the system.
