The x-coordinate of any point on the y-axis is 0, so the point (0,4) must be a point on the y-axis. That means that the point (0,4) IS the y-intercept for the desired equation, and the y-coordinate of this point is 4. You are given the slope number, i.e. 5, so you can write the equation directly simply by substituting the values for the slope and y-coordinate of the y-intercept into the equation
