Question 133625: This question was on my most recent test. I got the question wrong but have the opportunity to correct it for extra credit. What is the slope of 3x-y=6? I need to show the steps involved for full credit. Thanks for your assistance.
Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=mX+b WHERE m=SLOPE.
3x-y=6
-y=-3x+6
y=3x-6 thus the slope=3.
