Question 132675: I have an slope intercept form equation of: y=0.014x-20.60, how would i write this in standard form: Ax+By=C?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=0.014x-20.60, how would i write this in standard form: Ax+By=C ?
---------------
y = (14/1000)x - (2060/100)
Multiply thru by 1000 to get:
1000y = 14x + 20600
Rearrange:
14x - 1000y = -20600
