If velocity v is a linear function of time t then it must follow the equation
v = at + b, where a and b are constants.
Now v=3 at t=0 hence 3 = 0xt + b = b
Now v=80 at t=11 hence 80 = 11 x a + b = 11 x a + 3 ie 80-3 = 11 x a
ie 77 = 11 x a ie 77/11 = a ie a =7
hence the equation is v = 7t + 3
