Question 13078: I dont even know where to begin on this one. In each pair of equations, give the slope of each line,

Answer by LilSkittleMd(119)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-4x+3y=4
-8x+6y=0
The first thing you need to do is put them in slope-intercept form, which is y=mx+b
-4x+3y=4
Add 4x to both sides
3y=4x+4
Divide each side by 3
y=4/3x+4/3
-8x+6y=0
Add 8x to both sides
6y=8x+0
Divide each side by 6
y=4/3x+0
The slope is m (the number before x)
The slope of the first equation is 4/3
The slope of the second equation is 4/3
