2X+3Y=-6
3Y=-2X-6
Y=-2X/3-6/3
Y=-2X/3-2
NOW SET X=0 & SOLVE FOR Y:
Y=-2*0/3-2
Y=-2 OR THE POINT (0,-2)
NOW SET Y=0 & SOLVE FOR X:
0=-2X/3-2
-2X/3=2
-2X=6
X=6/-2
X=-3 OR THE POINT(-3,0)
NOW SET X=3 & SOLVE FOR Y FOR THE THIRD POINT
Y=-2*3/3-2
Y=-2-2
Y=-4 OR THE POINT(3,-4)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = -2x/3 -2).

The first two points I would pick are the x and y intercepts.
For x=0,
First point : (0,-2)
For y=0,
Second point : (-3,0)
for the third point, let x=1,
Third point : (1,-8/3)
First step, plot the three points.
Next step, draw the straight line connecting the three points.
