19X-18X=-9+20+4
X=15 ANSWER.
PROOF
-9+20=19*15-4-18*15
11=285-4-270

The biggest thing to know about an equation
is this: "Anything you do to one side, you must do to the other side."
I'm going to add to both sides.
Another way to look at it is I'm adding this equation:

On the right side I have which equals
Do the operation on the left
Do the operation on the right
