Question 1179639: What is the equation of the line that has a slope of -2 and passes through the point (-1, 2)?
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Plug value of the slope and point ( -1 , 2 ) in
Y = m x + b
2.00 = 2 + b
b= 2 - 2
b= 0
So the equation will be
Y = -2 x
