Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x1 y1 x2 y2
-4 1 -3 0

slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
( 0 - 1 )/( -3+4)
( -1 / 1 )
m= -1.00

Plug value of the slope and point ( -4 ,1)
Y = m x + b
1 = 4 + b
b= 1 - 4
b= -3
So the equation will be
Y = -1 x -3

Which of the following is the equation in slope-intercept form for the line that passes through the points (-4, 1) and (-3, 0)?
--------------
| x   y   1|
|-4   1   1| = 0
|-3   0   1|

x*(1-0) - y*(-4+3) + (0+3) = 0
x + y = -3
