 P(0, -2)
y - (-2) = 3(x-0)
    y + 2 = 3x
   y = 3x - 2  in Slope Intercept Form 

 Standard Form:  y - 3x = -2

If it's the equation you're looking for - you didn't include a question - then use the linear form of an equation, which is: or y = mx + b.
