Hi there,
Using formula y - b = m(x - a)
a = 8
b = 4
m = 3/4
y - 4 = 3/4(x - 8)
y - 4 = 3/4x - 6
y = 3/4x - 6 + 4
y = 3/4x - 2
or you can multiply throughout by 4
4y = 3x - 8
