Explain in detail? Nothing to explain. YOU JUST SUBSTITUTE AND SOLVE!
You see one of the equations is y in terms of x? You know how to begin.

LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE! y IS EQUAL TO SOMETHING. PUT THAT EXPRESSION INTO y FOR THE OTHER EQUATION AND SOLVE FOR x.
Answer by math_helper(2461) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 6x-11
-2x-3y = -7
Since the first equation is already expressed in terms of y, you can take the
right hand side (RHS) of the first equation and substitute it for 'y' in the
2nd equation:
-2x - 3(6x-11) = -7
Now its just turning the crank to solve for x. Once you have x, substitute that value into either of the two equations and solve it for y.
