Line x = -5 is vertical line in a coordinate plane through the point -5 on x-axis.


Parallel line is also vertical line x = c for some constant value "c".


Since the projected line passes through the point P(-2,6),  c = -2.


ANSWER.  Your line is  x = -2.

         It is vertical line in the coordinate plane through the point x= -2 in the x-axis.
