Question 1136039: Find the x-intercept and y-intercept of the given equation. (If an answer does not exist, enter DNE.)
y = −x
This one stumped me. I’m assuming there’s an invisible 1 in front of the negative x variable. I feel like that might be right, but I’m not sure. Unfortunately, that’s all they gave me in this question.
Also, thank you in advance to whoever solves this question!

This is perhaps one of those questions that is so easy that it seems the answer can't be right....
To find the x-intercept(s) of an equation, set y=0. For your equation...
--> x = 0; the y-intercept is 0, or (0,0)
To find the y-intercept(s) of an equation, set x=0. For your equation...
--> y = 0; the x-intercept is 0, or (0,0)
The graph of the equation is a straight line passing through the origin; (0,0) is both the x-intercept and the y-intercept.
