Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Substitute (-3) for y1, the y-coordinate of (6,-3).
Substitute (-5/6) for m, the slope.
Substitute (6) for x1, the x-coordinate of (6,-3).
DO NOT SUBSTITUTE for x or y, but leave them as variables.
Solve for y.
Simplify.
