The denominators are a, b and c. The lowest common denominator LCD is the product of all three values: a*b*c
If we multiply everything by the LCD, then the denominators cancel out making the fractions go away.
Multiply each of the three terms by the LCD a*b*c
Notice these pairs match up
Those same pairs divide and cancel out (since x/x = 1 where x is nonzero)
The fractions are gone at this point. Let's isolate c
Subtract ac from both sides
Factor out the common factor c
Divide both sides by (b-a)
