Assign ANY other point you want along with (-2,0) so that the slope is negative.

An example (and just one of infinite examples) is (0,-1) with (-2,0); or another example can be (5,-2) with (-2,0). You can find the equation for the line of either pair of points.

That only explains how to pick a useful point. You can do the rest of finding the corresponding equation.
