rearranging to the slope-intercept form (y=mx+b) shows the intercept
adding y gives 3x=y+7 ... subtracting 7 gives 3x-7=y

To find the y-intercept, let x=0 and solve for y:
Plug in
Simplify
Divide both sides by -1
Reduce
So the y-intercept is )
