Shouldn't this be, "Find the number of days worked by each person if the total number of days worked by both was 72?"

It appears so, but why should I try to decipher your math problem?

Anyway, if so, your equations are: W + H = 72 and 64W + 56H = 4,352

You may need to determine how I came up with these 2 equations and then solve them using matrices. 

**Hint: One worked 40 days while the other worked ????? days. You figure out the rest.
