Question 1073761: Find the equation for the line that passes through the point (5, -3), and that is perpendicular to the line with the equation x = -4. I would appreciate if someone could show me how to do this??
Answer by Fombitz(32388)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The line has a slope that is undefined (it's a vertical line).
A line perpendicular to that line would have a slope equal to zero (it's a horizontal line).
So find the horizontal line that goes through (5,-3)
