SOLUTION: Find the slope and y-intercept. x = -1. I'm not sure if my slope is 0 or undefined or if my y-intercept is -1 or there is no y-intercept.
y = mx+b
y = 0 + (-1)
y = -1

Find the slope and y-intercept. x = -1. I'm not sure if my slope is 0 or undefined or if my y-intercept is -1 or there is no y-intercept.
--------------
You are having trouble because you are taking an equation which is not
a function and trying to force it into a function form. Notice that you
started with x=-1 and ended up with y=-1 for no reason.
---------------
x=-1 graphs as a vertical line containing all points where x=-1.
So (-1,0) and (-1,2) would be two points on the line.
Then the slope would be (2-0)/(-1--1) = 2/0 which is "undefined".
So the slope is "undefined".
And since the line is parallel to the y-axis, there is no y-intercept.
