Question 1063561: 2/3x + 2= 4
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If this is (2/3)x+2=4, which it probably is, then (2/3)x=2, and multiplying both sides by the reciprocal to clear the fraction
(3/2)(2/3)x=2*(3/2)
x=3
---------------
If this is instead 2/3x+2=4
then 2/3x=2
multiply both sides by 3x
2=6x
x=1/3
