Question 1056662: The points in the table lie in a line.Find the slope of the line.
X -3 2 7 12
Y 0 2 4 6

Hi there,
x -3 2 7 12
y 0 2 4 6
Slope of line = y2 - y1/x2 - x1
Using (2,2) and (12,6) = 6 - 2/12 - 2
= 4/10 = 2/5
You can use any of the x,y coordinates.
Slope = 2/5
Hope this helps :-)
