Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. slope is -2 and through (3,0). Point slope formula, y-y1=m(x-x1)
y-0=-2(x-3)
y=-2x+6
2.y-2=2(x-1)
y-2=2x-2, distributing
y=2x
3.Need slope first, which is change in y over change in x. That is -9/12=-3/4
y+5=(-1/12)(x-7). You can use the other point if desired and watch the signs.
y+5=(-x/12)+(7/12);5=60/12
y=-(1/12)x-(53/12)
check with other point
y+4=(1/12)(x+5)
y+4=(1/12)x-(5/12)
y=(-1/12)x-(53/12)
4.Just move the 6 to the other side. That makes it standard form.
5x-y=-6. The coefficient of y is implied -1, an integer.
5.y=-3x+9 is slope-intercept form.
Move the x to the other side and you are done.
3x+y=9. This is standard form. The x and y have to have integer coefficients, and the x one must be positive. The constant is on the other side and has to be an integer.

4 & 5
Standard Form. Ax + By = C
A, B, C are integers (positive or negative whole numbers)
4. 5x-y = -6
5. 3x + y = 9

1 & 2
Use point-slope form,
1. P(3,0) m = -2 y = -2x + 6
2. p(1,2) m = 2 y = 2x
3.
(-5,-4) and
(7,-5) m = 1/-12 m =
P(-5,-4)
y = (-1/12)x -53/12 Check Arithmetic
1-3 in point-slope form
