So far I have determined answers A-C beow, but past C I am stuck!
(a) State the value of f (−2).
1
(b) State the x-intercept(s), if any.
-5, 0, 3
(c) State the y-intercept(s), if any.
0
(d) State the domain of the piecewise function.
(e) State the range of the piecewise function.
(f) State the interval(s) on which the function is increasing. That is, for what x-values is the function increasing?
(g) State the interval(s) on which the function is decreasing. That is, for what x-values is the function decreasing?

(d) State the domain of the piecewise function.
(e) State the range of the piecewise function.
(f) State the interval(s) on which the function is increasing. That is, for what x-values is the function increasing?
(g) State the interval(s) on which the function is decreasing. That is, for what x-values is the function decreasing?

The set of x input values of the function is the DOMAIN.

The set of all acceptable function values is the RANGE.

Just read from the graph for identifying the intervals of increase and the intervals of decrease. These are visually obvious.
