Question 1039345: station A and B are 587 m apart. one train starts from A to B and at the same another train which is 18 km fatser starts from B to a along a parallel track.if after 3 1/2 hours the distance between both the train is 34 km , find the speed of each train
Answer by jorel555(1290) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
587-34=553 km total distance traveled. So
3.5(n)+3.5(n+18)=553
7n+63=553
7n=490
n=70 kmh for the first train
70+18=88 kmh for the second!!!!!!!!!!!!!
