Question 1035912: How would i solve 2x + y + 6 = 0
(Question asks to find the gradient and rearrange the equation into gradient intercept form)
I googled it and got
Slope = 2
  x-intercept = 6/2 = 3
  y-intercept = 6/-1 = -6
Im not sure how...
Also how would i plot this on a number plane...

Slope-intercept form, which means the same as general form.
Solve for y in terms of x. The coefficient on x will be the slope. The constant term will be the y-intercept.
