Addition of negative number means subtraction of its positive value. Work from left to right.
WORK FROM LEFT TO RIGHT! You have the SUM of integers. This can also be done graphically using a number line.
An alternative is the use Commutative Property for Addition, and move all the positive numbers separately from the negative numbers:
6+2+(-3)+(-7).
If done that way,
(6+2)+(-3+(-7))
8+(-10)
