Question 1032970: If a line contains the x-intercept 10 and the y-intercept -5, find the slope m of any perpendicular line.

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

-5x+10y = -50
10y=5x-50
y= (1/2)x -5
m=(1/2)
The product of slopes of two perpendicular lines = -1
therefore the perpendicular line will have a slope of -2
