y=2x.......(1)
3x+y=15....(2)
Substitute y = 2x from Eq(1)
into Eq(2)
3x + y = 15
3x + (2x) = 15
Collect like terms:
5x = 15
x = 3
Substitute x = 3 into
Eq(1)
y = 2x
y = 2(3)
y = 6
(3,6)
